# Crane Service at the Bridgewater Channel

> The Bridgewater Channel frontage in Lake Havasu City is waterfront commercial ground. Restaurants, shops and marina businesses sit on small lots with pedestrian traffic in front and water behind. Crane work here is rooftop and kitchen equipment, patio and shade steel, and dock hardware, almost always scheduled before opening.

**TLDR:** The channel front is commercial and busy. Tight lots, foot traffic and boat traffic. Most work here happens before opening rather than during the day.

## Working a Commercial Waterfront

The channel front is a different problem from a residential street. The lots are small, the parking is shared and the foot traffic runs right past where the outriggers want to go. A crane set up here occupies space that a business needs, so the job has to be quick, planned and early.

Buildings back onto the water, which sometimes means the load has to travel over the roof to reach the far side. That is straightforward with reach, but it means the load path crosses the building, and the roof structure and anything mounted on it becomes part of the plan.

## What Gets Lifted Here

Restaurant and shop equipment is the bulk of it. Rooftop and package units, exhaust hoods, refrigeration, kitchen gear, and the shade and patio steel that every waterfront business eventually replaces. Add dock hardware, rails and the corrosion repairs that come with a building sitting on water.

Because these are working businesses, we plan around service hours. A start at first light gets most of it done before the first customer arrives, and the parking area is back in use by the time it matters.

- Rooftop and package HVAC and refrigeration
- Exhaust hoods and kitchen equipment
- Patio, shade and canopy steel
- Dock hardware, rails and gangways
- Sign and pole setting for channel businesses

## Our Process

1. **Agree the hours.** Before opening is almost always the answer. We set the start time around the business, not the other way round.
2. **Work out the parking.** Outriggers take spaces. We identify which ones, for how long, and who needs telling in advance.
3. **Plan the load path.** If the load crosses the building to reach the water side, we confirm the roof, the mounted equipment and the clearances before the boom comes up.
4. **In and out quickly.** The lift and the set happen in one visit, and the frontage goes back to normal before the day gets busy.

## What Is Included

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Can you work before we open?

Yes, and that is usually the right answer here. First light starts keep the crane out of your customers' way and out of the heat.

### How many parking spaces will you need?

Enough to spread outriggers safely, and we will tell you exactly which ones once we see the setup point. It is a short occupation, not a full day.

### Can you lift equipment over the building to the water side?

Often yes. Reach is rarely the issue. What matters is the roof, anything mounted on it, and a clear load path across the top.

### Do you handle exhaust hood and refrigeration sets?

Yes, and the supports and frames they sit on can be set on the same visit.
