## A Narrow Road and a Steep Drop

The strip is a long, narrow riverside corridor and the road reflects that. It winds, the shoulder comes and goes, and there are stretches with nowhere for a long truck to turn around. So the setup position and the way back out get settled before we leave the yard, not after we arrive.

The lots make the same point. Property here drops from the road to the water, sometimes steeply. The truck levels up on the road side and the load travels down, often well below the operator's eye level and past structures on the way. That is a spotter job every time.

## Boats, Docks and Resort Access

This is boat country. Hulls out for the season, hulls back in, dock sections, gangways, ramps and lift frames. Some of it is on private property, a lot of it is at resorts, marinas and RV parks where the approach is a private lane with gates, overhead structures and guests in the way.

That makes timing part of the job. Early starts on weekdays are best. Summer weekends put heavy slow traffic on the strip and fill every parking area, which affects both our drive and our ability to set up when we get there.

Steel that lives on the river corrodes. When a lift frame or dock section comes out for repair, plan the relaunch at the same time so it does not become a second 32 mile trip.

- Boats and watercraft hauled out and relaunched
- Dock sections, gangways, ramps and lift frames
- Riverside equipment, spas and mechanical placement
- Rooftop and package units on resort buildings
- Boat hoisting from lots above the water

## Our Process

1. **Photo from the road down.** One picture looking from the road toward the water shows the drop, the structures in the path and where a truck could sit.
2. **Settle the approach and exit.** Narrow road, private lanes and limited turnarounds. We agree how the truck gets in and back out before a date is set.
3. **Book early in the week.** Weekday mornings avoid the summer weekend traffic and the crowded parking. It makes the drive shorter and the setup easier.
4. **Lower with a spotter.** The load goes down under control with a spotter on the landing and tag lines on the load.

## What Is Included

- Approach, setup and turnaround plan before dispatch
- Rigging for hulls, dock sections and long awkward loads
- Spotter for landings below the operator's sight line
- Operator and rigging hand on site
- Early start ahead of weekend strip traffic

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Is the Parker Strip closer than Parker itself?

Yes. The strip starts about 32 road miles from our yard, which puts it in our first dispatch tier, while Parker town is 41 miles.

### Can your truck get down a resort lane?

Often, but not always. Gate width, overhead structures and turning room at the far end decide it. A photo of the entrance settles the question quickly.

### How do you lift a boat on a lot that drops to the water?

The truck sets up on the road side and the load travels down. Reach handles the distance. A spotter handles the part the operator cannot see.

### When is the best time to schedule?

Weekday mornings. Summer weekends bring heavy slow traffic on the strip and full parking areas, which makes both the drive and the setup harder.
