Mobile Crane Service in Arizona Village

1 min readUpdated July 2026

Arizona Village is 43 road miles north of our Lake Havasu City yard, in the river bottom communities above the Interstate 40 crossing. Lots are small and closely spaced, so most lifts go over a roof line from the street. Work is HVAC changeouts, carports, sheds, sections and roofing material load ups.

Small Lots, Close Neighbours

Arizona Village is laid out in small lots on a simple grid. That means two things for a crane. First, there is almost never room to get a truck onto the property itself, so we set up in the street and work over the roof line. Second, the setup affects the neighbours, because the outriggers, the counterweight swing and the load path all cross more than one property line.

Ground is flat, which helps. The soil is old river deposit rather than caliche, so it is more forgiving to dig and less forgiving under a concentrated load. Pads go down on every job here regardless of how firm the street looks.

Housing Work and Batching the Trip

The job mix follows the housing. Roof mounted and package units, carports and awnings, sheds and containers, steps and rails, plus roofing material and solar panels on older units. Section setting comes up when a new unit is placed.

At 43 miles this is a second tier run, and it sits right next to Willow Valley and Mohave Valley. If more than one address needs work in that cluster, we put them on one trip. Park managers and HVAC contractors get the most out of that arrangement.

  • Roof mounted and package HVAC changeouts
  • Carports, awnings and patio covers
  • Manufactured and modular section setting
  • Sheds, containers and yard equipment
  • Roofing material lifts onto manufactured homes

Distance and Dispatch

Arizona Village is 43 road miles from our yard at 850 London Bridge Rd in Lake Havasu City. That is measured by road, not straight line, because the road distance is what actually decides how a day gets scheduled. Middle dispatch band. Same day depends on what is already booked that day.

  • 43 road miles north, in the cluster of river bottom communities between Topock and Mohave Valley.
  • Small, closely spaced lots on a simple street grid. Neighbours are close enough that a setup affects more than one property.
  • Mostly manufactured and modular housing, which sets the job mix.
  • Flat ground throughout, so setups are level, but the soil is river deposit rather than caliche.
  • Pairs well with Willow Valley and Mohave Valley jobs on the same run.

How the job runs

Our Process

  1. Step 1: Tell us the street layout

Street width, parked cars and whether there is anything overhead between the pavement and the roof. That is the whole job on a small lot.

  2. Step 2: Warn the neighbours

Setting up in the street means blocking part of it for a while. A word to the neighbours the day before saves an argument on the day.

  3. Step 3: Book with the cluster

If there is other work in Arizona Village, Willow Valley or Mohave Valley the same week, we group it and everyone gets a better slot.

  4. Step 4: Lift over and land clean

The load goes over the roof line and lands where it belongs, and the truck is off the street before the neighbours need it.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you get a crane onto my lot?

Usually not, and usually it does not matter. We set up in the street and work over the roof. Reach is rarely the limit here, street room is.

How far out is Arizona Village?

43 road miles north of the yard. Second tier dispatch, so a booked window is the reliable way to get us.

Will you block the street?

Partly, for the duration of the lift. We keep a lane open where the street allows it and we work as quickly as the job safely permits.

Can you do several homes in one visit?

Yes, and it is the best way to use a trip this length. Group the addresses and we build the day around them.

Ready to schedule your lift?

Tell us the load, the site and the timing. We will confirm capacity, access and a window.
