Mobile Crane Service Across La Paz County
2 min readUpdated July 2026
La Paz County sits south of our Lake Havasu City yard, reached down AZ-95 through the Parker Strip. We cover Parker, the Parker Strip, Cienega Springs, Bluewater, Bouse and Quartzsite. The county's work is river recreation, irrigated agriculture and a winter visitor population that swells and then empties out.
What Is Down There
La Paz County is smaller and emptier than Mohave County, and it has a different economy. The river side is recreation. The Parker Strip, the marinas, the resorts and the riverfront homes generate boat work, dock work and the mechanical work that goes with a lot of buildings full of people in winter.
Inland is farming and winter visitors. The Parker Valley grows under irrigation, which puts pumps, gearheads and implements on the list. Quartzsite and Bouse fill up with RVs from October to March and go quiet in summer. Both of those patterns change what gets asked for and when.
Distance and How We Book It
Parker is 41 road miles from the yard, which is second tier. Same day is possible, it just depends on what is already committed. Cienega Springs and Bluewater are close to Parker and fall the same way. The Parker Strip at 32 miles is actually first tier, because it starts well before you reach town.
Bouse at 69 miles and Quartzsite at 76 are third tier. Those are booked days. They also make far more sense in pairs, so if there is more than one job down there in the same week, we would rather do them on one trip. If you are a park manager, a builder or a contractor with several items, put them together and we will build the day around it.

Season Runs the County
You cannot plan work down here without thinking about the calendar. From October through March the RV parks fill, the resorts are busy, the traffic on AZ-95 picks up and access to riverside property gets harder because everything is occupied. That is also when most building and repair work happens, because it is the only comfortable time of year.
From June through September the county is hot and quiet. Getting a truck into a park or a resort lane is easy. Working in the middle of the day is not, so summer jobs start at first light. Monsoon storms roll through from July, and wind is what stops us, not rain.
How the job runs
Our Process
Step 1: Name the town
Parker, Bouse and Quartzsite are three very different runs. The town sets the tier and the tier sets what we can honestly promise.
Step 2: Check the approach
Resort lanes, RV park roads, farm turnouts and riverfront drives are the real constraint down here. We confirm the truck fits before we set a date.
Step 3: Book, and batch if you can
For Bouse and Quartzsite especially, two or three jobs on one trip is a better day for everybody. Tell us what else is nearby.
Step 4: One trip, everything on the list
Everything that needs lifting goes on one list before the truck leaves. At 70 miles out, nobody wants to find a second item after the crane has already gone home.

Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
How far south do you go?
Quartzsite at 76 road miles is our regular southern limit, with Bouse at 69 on the way. Further south than that becomes a special arrangement rather than routine service.
Is Parker same day?
Sometimes. At 41 miles it is second tier, so it depends on the morning's schedule. A day or two of notice makes it dependable.
Do you work in the RV parks and resorts?
Yes, and the limiting factor is usually the lane rather than the lift. Send a photo of the road in and we will tell you where the truck can set up.
Can you handle farm equipment in the Parker Valley?
Yes. Pumps, gearheads and implements are regular work. The crane pulls and resets them so your pump or farm crew can do the repair in between.
Does winter season affect getting a slot?
It does. October through March is the busy stretch for the whole county, so lead times stretch. Summer is quieter but the working day is shorter because of the heat.
