Service Area
Mobile Crane Service in Bluewater, Arizona
1 min readUpdated July 2026
Bluewater sits 39 road miles south of our Lake Havasu City yard, on the Colorado River next to Parker. It is riverfront and resort ground, so approach is usually a lane or a parking area rather than a public street. Work covers boats, docks, rooftop units and resort kitchen equipment.
Resort Ground and Private Lanes
Getting into Bluewater properties is rarely a matter of pulling up at a curb. Approaches run through resort lanes, parking areas, gates and private drives that were laid out for cars and golf carts. A boom truck fits most of them, but not all, and finding out which on the day is the wrong way to run a job.
So the first conversation is about the way in. Gate width, overhead structures at the entrance, turning room at the far end and whether we can be there at a time that does not put a crane in the middle of somebody's busy morning.
Water Work and Everything Around It
Riverfront jobs here look like the rest of the corridor. Boats out for the season or in for service, dock sections, gangways and lift frames coming out for repair and going back in. Plan the haul out and the relaunch together so one booked window covers both.
The buildings generate the rest. Rooftop and package units, kitchen and mechanical equipment, spas, and steel for shade structures and patios. Those are usually clean picks from a parking area with room to work.
- Boats and personal watercraft in and out of the water
- Dock sections, gangways and lift frames
- Rooftop and package HVAC on buildings
- Mechanical and kitchen equipment placement
- Boat hoisting for resort and private docks
Distance and Dispatch
Bluewater is 39 road miles from our yard at 850 London Bridge Rd in Lake Havasu City. That is measured by road, not straight line, because the road distance is what actually decides how a day gets scheduled. Middle dispatch band. Same day depends on what is already booked that day.
- 39 road miles down AZ-95, at the Parker end of the corridor. Second tier dispatch.
- Access is often through resort lanes, parking areas and private drives rather than a normal street grid.
- Riverfront setups mean the load frequently lands below the operator, so a spotter is not optional.
- Busy in winter, quiet in summer. Getting a truck in is easier in July than in January.
- Pairs naturally with Parker and Cienega Springs jobs on the same trip.
How the job runs
Our Process
Step 1: Describe the way in
Gate width, overhead clearance at the entrance and turning room at the far end. That decides the truck before the load does.
Step 2: Set the hours
On resort and riverfront property, timing matters. We schedule around guests, deliveries and busy periods rather than in the middle of them.
Step 3: Plan for the drop
Loads land below the outriggers on most riverfront lots. We position for a clear sight line and use a spotter for the part the operator cannot see.
Step 4: Haul out and relaunch
At 39 miles nobody wants a second trip. If the piece can be serviced while we are there, the crane waits and sets it back the same day.

Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Will your truck fit through a resort lane?
Usually, but not always. Send a photo of the entrance and the lane and we will confirm before we commit to a date.
How far is Bluewater from your yard?
39 road miles south on AZ-95. Second tier dispatch, which means a booked window rather than a guaranteed same day arrival.
Can you work around guests and busy periods?
Yes. Early starts and off peak scheduling are normal on resort and riverfront property. Tell us the window when you book.
Can you pull a boat lift or dock section for repair?
Yes. The crane lifts the piece out, your repair crew does the work, and the crane sets it back. Planning both ends in one visit is the only sensible way to do it at this distance.
