Request a Lift

1 min readUpdated July 2026

To request a lift, tell us what needs moving, roughly what it weighs, where a truck can park, how far it is from there to where the load has to land, and when you need it. With those five things we can confirm which crane covers the job and give you a realistic window.

What we need from you

Five things answer almost every question we would otherwise have to ask on a phone call. The weight of the load, where a truck can physically park, the distance from there to the final position, what is in between, and when you need it done.

A photo from the street is worth more than a paragraph. It shows us the setup room, the overhead lines and the wall height all at once.

  • What it is and roughly what it weighs. An estimate is fine. If it is a package unit, the model number tells us exactly.
  • Where a truck can park. Street, driveway, dirt lot, parking area.
  • How far from there to the final position. Pace it out if you can. This is usually the number that decides which crane comes.
  • What is in between. A wall, a roof, a patio cover, a power drop, a tree.
  • When you need it. Including whether there are other trades waiting on it.

What happens after you send it

We read it, work out which crane covers the weight at that distance, and come back to you. If something in the description does not add up, we will ask rather than guess and turn up with the wrong machine.

If it is urgent, calling is faster than a form. The phone is answered around the clock and we will tell you honestly whether today is realistic before you rearrange anything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly will you get back to me?

As soon as we can. If we are on a job that means when we are off the machine. For anything time-critical, call rather than waiting on a reply.

I do not know what it weighs. Can you still quote?

Usually yes. Tell us what it is and we can often work it out. For HVAC equipment the model number gives us the exact weight.

Do I need to be there on the day?

Someone who can make decisions should be, especially for the briefing before the pick. It does not have to be you, but it should be somebody.

Ready to schedule your lift?

Tell us the load, the site and the timing. We will confirm capacity, access and a window.
