HCW Crane Service works out of Lake Havasu City and covers the surrounding Arizona communities across Mohave County and La Paz County. Every distance below is measured by road from our yard on London Bridge Road, because road distance is what decides how a day can be scheduled.
A lot of service-area pages list towns by how close they look on a map. That is misleading here. The Colorado River, the terrain and a limited number of crossings mean two places can be a few miles apart and an hour apart by road.

Access varies a lot across Lake Havasu City. Hillside neighborhoods have grade and narrow streets, the older flat areas have more overhead utility lines, and nearly every yard has a block wall. Each page below covers what that means for a lift.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far will you travel for a lift?
Routinely out to about 100 road miles from Lake Havasu City. Past that the travel starts to cost more than the lift, and there is usually a closer operator who makes more sense for you.
Do you serve California?
Not at present. Our operating authority is registered for Arizona, so we work Arizona communities. If your job is across the river, we will tell you rather than waste your time.
Why do you list road miles instead of straight-line distance?
Because the river and the terrain make them very different numbers here. Some places are a few miles away across the water and well over an hour away by road. Road miles are the honest figure.
Can you do same day outside Lake Havasu City?
Sometimes. Under about 35 road miles it is usually workable. Between 35 and 60 it depends on the day. Past 60 it usually needs to be booked. Call and we will tell you which one you are.
