Mobile Crane Service in Crystal Beach

1 min readUpdated July 2026

Crystal Beach is seven road miles from our Lake Havasu City yard, so it is one of the shortest runs we make. It is a small community with a mix of manufactured homes and built houses close to the water. Typical work is HVAC changeouts, spas, boats, sheds and equipment placement.

The Short Run

There is not much to say about getting here. Seven road miles, a few minutes from the yard, and the truck is on site. That makes Crystal Beach one of the few places where a call in the morning genuinely can turn into a lift the same day, as long as nothing else has already claimed the truck.

It also means small jobs are worth doing here that would not make sense sixty miles out. A single unit, one pallet of roofing, one awkward item that two people cannot carry. If it needs a crane for twenty minutes, that is fine.

Small Lots and Short Streets

The lots are tighter than the rural parcels just up the road. Streets are short, some end without much of a turnaround, and neighbours are close enough that the setup position affects more than one property. We work that out from a photo before the truck leaves rather than trying to solve it while blocking the street.

Ground near the water is sandy and the shoulders are soft. Outriggers go on pavement or on pads. Nothing straddles the edge of the asphalt, because that is the fastest way to end up with a leaning truck and a bad afternoon.

  • Rooftop and package HVAC changeouts
  • Spas and hot tubs over walls and fences
  • Boats on and off trailers
  • Sheds, containers and yard equipment
  • Roofing and solar material staged on the roof

Distance and Dispatch

Crystal Beach is 7 road miles from our yard at 850 London Bridge Rd in Lake Havasu City. That is measured by road, not straight line, because the road distance is what actually decides how a day gets scheduled. Inside our closest dispatch band. Same day is usually workable when the schedule allows.

  • Seven road miles from the yard, which makes it one of our easiest dispatches.
  • Housing is mixed. Manufactured units and built homes sit on the same streets, and the lots are smaller than in Desert Hills.
  • Streets are short and some end in turnarounds sized for cars, so the setup point gets picked before we leave.
  • Being close to the water means sandy ground and soft shoulders in places.

How the job runs

Our Process

  1. Step 1: Call with the basics

What it is, roughly what it weighs, and where it has to go. At this distance we can often answer whether today works while you are still on the phone.

  2. Step 2: Send a street photo

Short streets and close neighbours mean the setup spot matters. One picture from the road settles it.

  3. Step 3: We set up on solid ground

Pavement or pads, never half on the shoulder. Sandy edges near the water do not hold a concentrated load.

  4. Step 4: Lift and clear out

Load lands, pads come up, the street is clear. At seven miles, a second small lift the same week is no trouble.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can you get to Crystal Beach?

Minutes, once we are rolling. It is seven road miles from the yard. The question is whether the truck is free, not whether it can get there.

Is a small one item lift worth calling about?

Here, yes. At this distance a short job makes sense in a way it would not sixty miles out.

Can you set a spa in a fenced backyard?

Usually. We set up on the street or the drive and lift over the fence or wall. Send a photo of the approach and the pad location.

Do you work weekends here?

The phone is answered 24 hours and we take breakdown work any day. Routine jobs get scheduled around the week's committed work.

Ready to schedule your lift?

Tell us the load, the site and the timing. We will confirm capacity, access and a window.
