This site sets one strictly necessary first-party record to remember your cookie choice. Analytics and measurement cookies from Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load only after you agree, because consent defaults to denied before any tag runs. Marketing cookies are not used at all.
The Short Version
This policy was last updated in July 2026.
Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to function. Others exist so the owner can measure how the site is being used.
This website keeps that to a minimum. One record remembers your cookie choice so the bar does not reappear on every page. Everything else is optional, off by default, and stays off if you say no or say nothing at all.
Strictly Necessary
There is exactly one item in this category, and it exists only because you were asked a question and we do not want to keep asking it.
The consent record is a first-party item named for this site. It stores the categories you chose, the date you chose them, and a version number. It holds no identifier, no name and nothing about who you are.
It is written both to your browser's local storage and to a first-party cookie, because some private browsing modes block one and allow the other. It lasts about six months, after which you will be asked again. Only this website can read it.
Analytics, And What Happens If You Say No
Two measurement tools on this site can use cookies, and neither sets one until you agree.
Google Analytics tells us which pages get read and which get abandoned, so the writing can be improved. It is configured with Google Consent Mode set to denied by default before any tag loads, which means analytics storage, advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization all start denied. IP anonymization is enabled.
Microsoft Clarity records anonymous interaction patterns such as scrolling and clicks, so we can see where a page confuses people. It is a usability tool and it is not used to identify anyone.
If you reject, or never answer the bar at all, neither tool sets anything. Google Analytics still loads in a cookieless mode that sends Google anonymous signals with no identifier, and Clarity does not load at all. Nothing on this site is withheld, degraded or slowed down because you declined. Marketing and advertising cookies are not used on this site in any state.
Separately, the site counts visits with Vercel Web Analytics and measures loading speed with Vercel Speed Insights. Both are cookieless: they set no cookies, store nothing on your device, do not track you across other sites and do not identify you. They record aggregated page views, referring sites, country, device type and page loading times. Because they store nothing, they run whether or not you accept cookies.
Changing Or Withdrawing Your Choice
Your choice is not permanent. Clearing cookies and site data for this site in your browser removes the stored consent record, and the bar will ask you again on your next visit.
Withdrawing consent also pushes the denied signal back out to the tags, so measurement stops rather than merely being hidden.
Every major browser also lets you block or delete cookies for a site directly in its settings, usually under privacy or site permissions. Blocking cookies for this site entirely is fine. The site will keep working, and it will ask about consent again each visit because it can no longer remember your answer.

Answers
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this site set any cookie before I choose?
Only the one that records your choice, and only once you have made one. Consent Mode is set to denied before any measurement tag loads, so nothing is written for analytics until you agree.
What happens if I ignore the cookie bar?
No answer is treated as a no. Google Analytics stays cookieless, Clarity never loads, and the cookieless Vercel page counts and speed measurements run as usual. None of them store anything on your device. The site works exactly the same and every page stays available to you.
Do you use advertising or marketing cookies?
No. The marketing category is off and unused. There is no advertising pixel, no retargeting tag and no data being sent to an ad platform from this site.
How do I change my mind later?
Clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser. That removes the stored record, stops the cookie-based measurement, and the bar will ask you again next visit. You can also block cookies for this site entirely and everything will still work.
