Crane Service in Pueblo Country, Lake Havasu City

1 min readUpdated July 2026

Pueblo Country is one of the older, flatter parts of Lake Havasu City. Lots are deep, many have RV gates and side yard storage, and detached garages and shop buildings are common. That mix means a lot of what we lift here is boats, trailers and equipment rather than rooftop work alone.

Deep Lots and Real Side Access

Pueblo Country is different from the newer walled subdivisions in one useful way. A lot of these properties have an RV gate and a side yard wide enough to matter. That means a crane is not always the only option, and when we are called it is often because the item is too heavy to roll, not because it will not fit.

What that changes is the plan. Sometimes the best answer is lifting over the house. Sometimes it is setting the load down in the side yard where your own equipment can take it from there. We will tell you which is quicker once we have seen the frontage.

Boats, Trailers and Shop Buildings

Storage is the theme here. Boats on trailers, RVs, utility trailers and equipment parked along the side of the house. Detached garages and shop buildings sit on a lot of these properties, and that brings its own work: roof units, shop equipment, hoists, racking and steel.

Overhead line runs along many of these streets, the same as elsewhere in the older parts of town. Combined with the parked vehicles out front, that usually leaves one or two good setup positions rather than a free choice, which is why a photo from the street is worth more than a description.

  • Boats, personal watercraft and trailers into side yards
  • Rooftop and package HVAC changeouts
  • Shop equipment, hoists and racking
  • Sheds, covers and detached garage steel
  • Shop machinery set and trailers unloaded

Local Access Notes

These are the things that actually decide how a lift runs in Pueblo Country. We check them before quoting rather than discovering them on the day. Our yard is 4 road miles away on 850 London Bridge Rd.

  • Flat, established streets with deep lots and generous front setbacks.
  • RV gates and side yard storage are common, so a side route into the back is genuinely usable here.
  • Detached garages, shops and covers add structures the load path has to work around.
  • Overhead line runs along many of these streets, so setup position gets chosen for clearance.
  • Boats, trailers and RVs parked out front are the most common obstacle to a good setup spot.

How the job runs

Our Process

  1. Step 1: Show us the frontage

A photo from across the street showing the wires, the parked vehicles and the gate tells us whether this is a lift over or a set down job.

  2. Step 2: Clear the front

Moving the boat or the trailer off the driveway the night before often turns a marginal setup position into a comfortable one.

  3. Step 3: Pick the route in

Over the house or in through the RV gate. We choose whichever is quicker and gentler on your property, not whichever is more impressive.

  4. Step 4: Set it and clear out

The load lands, and a second item like a trailer load or a shop machine gets handled on the same visit while the truck is still there.

Answers

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have to lift over the house if I have an RV gate?

Not necessarily. If the gate and side yard will take the item, setting it down where your own equipment can move it is often quicker and cheaper on time.

Can you put a boat into my side yard?

Yes, that is regular work here. We need the boat weight, the gate position and a setup point clear of the overhead line.

Is the overhead line a problem on these streets?

It has to be planned around. Combined with vehicles parked out front it usually leaves one or two good setup spots, so a photo helps us pick before we arrive.

Do you work on detached shops and garages?

Yes. Roof units, hoists, racking and equipment all come up, and a trailer arriving with shop machinery can be unloaded straight onto the slab.
